When you check out: payments are handled by Stripe. On Stripe's page you give your name, email, phone number, business name and card. Your card number goes straight to Stripe and never reaches us. Stripe tells us the rest, plus your billing details, the plan you picked, the type and last four digits of your card, and whether the payment went through.
After you pay: our thank-you page asks what your business does, your current website if you have one, and anything we should know before the call. All of these are optional.
While we build your site: what you tell us on the discovery call and what you send us, such as your logo, photos, videos and the websites you like.
In your dashboard: the email address you sign in with (we email you a one-time code instead of using a password), the people you add to your account, your messages and edit requests, the files you upload, and the hours, holiday hours, banner and contact details you change yourself. We keep a log of sign-ins and changes so we can see who did what.
On links pages we host for our customers: we count views and clicks, with the visitor's country, the website they came from and their type of device. We don't set cookies on these pages and we don't store visitors' IP addresses. If a page shows a video or music player, that service (for example YouTube or Spotify) receives the visitor's IP address when the page loads.
Extras a page owner can turn on: an email sign-up box, where the email a visitor types is stored for the page owner, who decides how to use it; and Meta or TikTok ad tracking. Ad tracking only starts if the visitor taps Allow when the page asks. Meta or TikTok then set their own cookies and receive the visit under their privacy policies. The visitor's answer is saved in their own browser; we don't keep it.
Forms on our customers' websites: when a visitor sends a message or signs up through a form on a website we run for one of our customers, we store what they typed (for example their name, email, phone number and message), the page they sent it from and the time, for that business. We email it to the business and show it in their dashboard. If the business connected another service, such as Zapier or the tool they keep customers in, we send it there too. For text sign-ups we also keep the words the visitor agreed to. We use it only to deliver it to the business; the business decides how to use it. If the business has our spam check on, Cloudflare's Turnstile looks at the visitor's browser when they send the form, to tell people from bots.
When you browse: we don't use analytics, tracking pixels or ads. p2sites.com sets no cookies. Your dashboard sets one cookie that keeps you signed in, and nothing else. Like every website, our hosting provider receives the basic technical details needed to show you the pages, such as your IP address and browser type.
To reply to you, take your payment, build and run your site, make the changes you ask for, send sign-in codes, receipts and messages about your plan, and keep the records the law requires for payments and taxes.
We don't add you to a newsletter or marketing list.
We don't sell your information or share it for advertising. A few services handle it for us so the site and your plan work:
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Emails from people who didn't buy: for as long as they're useful, and we delete them whenever you ask.
Customers: for as long as you have a plan with us. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually seven years.
Your dashboard: messages, files and settings stay while you have a plan. When your plan ends, we keep them for 90 days in case you come back, email you two weeks before, and then they're deleted automatically. We delete them sooner if you ask, and we can send you your files first. Our project notes about your site in Notion are kept with your customer details and deleted when you ask. Sign-in codes are deleted after two days and the log of sign-ins and changes after 13 months.
Links page stats: 25 months, then they're deleted automatically. Email sign-ups on a links page: until the page owner deletes them or the page is deleted. If you signed up on a page and want your email removed, ask the page owner or email us.
Website form messages and sign-ups: until the business deletes them, or 90 days after its plan with us ends, along with the rest of its dashboard. Copies we make to send them on to another service are deleted after 30 days.
You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected], or in your dashboard go to Account and choose “Ask to delete my account”, and we'll take care of it. Some payment records can't be deleted early because the law requires us to keep them.
Anyone on your account can remove the people they added in the dashboard, under Account.
If you sent a message or signed up through a form on one of our customers' websites, ask that business to see, change or delete it. You can also email us, and we'll pass your request on or delete it from what we store. To stop getting a business's texts, reply STOP.
We don't track you across other websites. A links page whose owner turned on Meta or TikTok ad tracking asks you first, and nothing loads if you say no.
This site is for businesses. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we'll delete them.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
