P2 Sites is a website service run by MKLB Partners (doing business as P2 Sites) in Houston, Texas (“we”, “us”). “You” means the business that buys a plan.
Each plan includes what its card on our Pricing page lists on the day you pay: the number of pages, rounds of changes before launch, edit requests each month and the extras for that plan. We keep a copy of what you bought with your order.
Timing: most sites are ready for review about a week after the discovery call, then go live a few days after your last round of changes. These times are estimates and depend on how quickly we get your photos, answers and feedback.
If we don't hear from you for 60 days while your site is being built, we may pause your project. Write to us any time and we'll pick it up where we left off.
The setup fee is paid up front when you check out. It covers the design, the writing and the launch of your site.
If you cancel before your discovery call, we refund the setup fee in full. After the call we start designing and writing your site, so from then on the setup fee isn't refundable.
Launch pricing applies to the number of customers shown on our site. Your spot and price are locked in once your setup fee is paid.
Your monthly plan starts at checkout, together with the setup fee. The first monthly payment is charged 30 days after checkout, then once a month after that, automatically to the card or bank account you used at checkout, until you cancel. It costs the amount shown for your plan (currently $29 a month).
The monthly plan covers hosting, the security certificate, your contact form and the edit requests included in your plan. One request is the changes to one page or one topic, sent together. Requests that aren't used don't carry over to the next month. Extra requests are $25 each, and we tell you before we start. Bigger changes, like new pages or a redesign, are quoted separately before we start.
These never count as a request: fixing your site when it's down, broken or not working, typo fixes, and fixing our own mistakes.
If we ever change the monthly price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.
If a monthly payment fails, we'll email you. If it's still unpaid after 30 days, we may take the site offline until it's paid.
You can cancel the monthly plan any time by emailing [email protected] or online on your billing page (linked on your thank-you page and in our emails, and in your dashboard once it opens). There's no cancellation fee. If you cancel before your first monthly payment, you're never charged for the monthly plan.
Your site stays up until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund partial months.
When you cancel, your domain stays yours. On request we send you your words, photos and logo files so you can use them anywhere.
Your plan comes with a dashboard at my.p2sites.com, opening soon (until then, email us for anything below). There you can message us, send edit requests and files, follow your site's progress, change your hours, holiday hours, banner and contact details yourself, and see your billing.
You sign in with a one-time code we email you, so keep your email account secure. Anyone you add to your account can do everything you can except remove you, including sending edit requests that use your plan's requests, so only add people you trust.
Changes you make yourself don't count as edit requests, and you're responsible for them being right. If your site doesn't update by itself yet, we put them on your site for you.
Each edit request uses one of your plan's requests for that month. If you've used them all, we tell you the price of an extra request before we start.
If you have a links page and turn on its email sign-up box, the emails it collects are yours to use, and you're responsible for following email marketing laws: only send people what they signed up for, and include your postal address and a way to unsubscribe in every marketing email. If you turn on Meta or TikTok ad tracking, you're responsible for how you use what those services collect.
The forms on your website send what visitors type to your dashboard, which emails it to you and can pass it on to another service you connect. That information is yours, and you're responsible for how you use it: answer people, keep your site's privacy wording accurate (we give you a starting version), follow email marketing laws for your email list, and text the people on your text list only about what they agreed to, stopping when they reply STOP.
Yours: your domain, your logo, the photos and videos you send us, and the words we write for your site once your setup fee is paid.
Ours: the design system, code and tools we use to build and run sites. You can use them for as long as your monthly plan is active.
Stock photos we add are licensed for use on your site only.
You confirm that you have the right to use the logos, photos, videos and text you give us, including files you upload to your dashboard, and that what you ask us to publish, or change yourself, is accurate and legal. We can refuse to publish anything we believe is unlawful, misleading or infringes someone else's rights.
If you think a site or links page we host uses your work without permission, email [email protected] with a link to it, what you own, how to reach you, and a statement that you believe the use isn't allowed. We look into every complaint and take down anything that infringes.
Your domain is registered in your name and you pay the registrar for it directly. If you don't have one, we help you buy it.
We may show your live site as an example of our work on our website and social media. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us and we won't.
Sites are hosted on Cloudflare. We work to keep your site online and fix problems quickly, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable, for example during an outage at a hosting provider.
We set your site up so Google can read it, but nobody can promise a particular ranking on Google or any number of visitors or customers.
To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page and email current customers about anything that affects them. Changes don't apply to a monthly period you've already paid for.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Harris County, Texas.
